All-new Chery ARRIZO 6 Launched in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Motorcity, the sole distributor of Chery vehicles in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the arrival of the all-new ARRIZO 6 at its showroom in Sanad. The latest addition to the Chery line-up in Bahrain is a youthful and sporty award-winner that is intended to appeal to a more dynamic audience of tech savvy drivers.
The ARRIZO 6 is equipped with the new-generation 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, which delivers 147Ps horsepower and a peak torque of 210N.m. It is mated with a 9-speed CVT25 that is on par with advanced CVTs across the globe, perfectly balancing power and fuel economy. The sedan’s CVT25 has won the Best Transmission award following rigorous testing and examination by an expert evaluation panel in the 2nd Global Top 10 Best Transmissions Competition for 2018, organised by the Automotive Evaluation Institute (AEI).
The CVT25 has various advantages such as high efficiency, low oil consumption and low noise. The intelligent gearshift mode options such as AT mode and automatic-adapting mode resonates well with users’ driving habits. As a result, the driving experience is greatly enhanced and smoother than ever.
The German Bauhaus style interior perfectly complements the exterior and also combines the sense of premium design with ease of operations. Leather seats with leather-wrapped trims enhance the look and feel, and three large sized, interconnected screens make up the control panel. The 7-inch multi-functional liquid crystal dashboard, 8-inch touchscreen for the air conditioner and 9-inch HD capacitive touchscreen provide a synchronised display for navigation, entertainment and phone calls.
In terms of safety, the all-new ARRIZO 6 adopts the integrated cage body, whose key parts use the Bentler super-strong thermal-steel and more than 60% of the steel used are of third-generation high-strength steel, thus building layers of protection for the occupants of the vehicle.
The ARRIZO 6 active safety configurations include all the necessary features for a vehicle of its size and class. The premium variant of the model is also equipped with a remote start system, 360° bird’s eye-view panoramic HD reverse camera, electronic handbrake and active brake system, among others.
Currently, the Chery line-up in the kingdom includes entry level and midsize sedans ARRIZO 3, ARRIZO 5, and versatile SUVs Tiggo 2, Tiggo 3, Tiggo 5 and Tiggo 7. Over the years, the Chery brand has steadily gained popularity especially with young consumers in Bahrain because of its attractive design and value, as well as a strong motivation towards style, sporty appeal and dynamism.
